1、System Equipment Control and Management

Due to the characteristics of multi-parameter, nonlinearity, and fluctuating cooling/heating loads in central air conditioning systems, it is easy for the system's operating conditions to deviate from the efficient operating state, leading to reduced thermal conversion efficiency of the chiller units. Under the condition of ensuring comfort, to improve the energy efficiency of the central air conditioning system, comprehensive energy efficiency tracking control and management of various components such as chiller units and water circulation systems must be implemented.

2、Chiller Units

Based on the collected supply and return water temperatures, pressure, flow rate, and ambient temperature and humidity of the chilled and cooling water circulation systems, the central air conditioning intelligent controller calculates the actual system load to dynamically adjust the number of operating chiller units and temperature settings. The control mode of chiller units can be divided into two scenarios.

3、Hot Water Circulation

When ambient temperature, humidity, system process parameters, and the heat load at the air conditioning terminals change, the process parameters of the water circulation system also change accordingly. The central air conditioning intelligent controller optimizes the efficiency of the chiller units based on the cooling load value and provides control strategies. The chilled water pump energy efficiency controller dynamically adjusts the chilled water flow rate, the cooling water pump energy efficiency controller dynamically adjusts the cooling water flow rate, the hot water pump energy efficiency controller dynamically adjusts the hot water flow rate, and the cooling tower fan energy efficiency controller adjusts the operating speed of the cooling tower fans to meet the user's heat demand and ensure that the chiller units' COP remains in an efficient conversion state.

4、Energy Management

On the management computer, centralized control and energy efficiency management of system equipment such as chiller units and related electric regulating valves in the water circulation system are achieved. Through intelligent metering units, electricity consumption statistics of the air conditioning system are transmitted via the energy bus to the management computer or other energy statistical management systems, enabling the statistical management of system operating parameters and energy statistical reports.
